Vito Mazza Salon & Spa in Woodbridge has recently launched Repêchage’s innovative facial bar concept that offers express 30-minute face, hair and hand treatments in an open setting. Treatments may be less expensive and faster than back-room spa services. Since January, Vito Mazza’s spa director, Christie Citsay, has seen a service increase of 12 percent, product sales from services up six percent and floor sales up 37 percent. She said although many factors contribute to the increase in services and sales, she attributes the growth to the facial bar concept. She said it offers both convenience and value to the needs of the clientele, like a wellness series which clients can purchase 5 facials and get the sixth free or they can pay monthly for 5 facials over 6 months.
