A ‘Hair Raising’ Way To Give Back
Vito Mazza Salon, Spa & Hair Restoration Will Donate 100% of Sales
To ‘Locks of Love’ and Our Local Community
Woodbridge, NJ Vito Mazza Salon Spa & Hair Restoration will be hosting a special fundraiser in memory of Faye Hecht while honoring Kelly Mahon and her family on Sunday, May 18 from 10 AM to 4 PM at their Woodbridge, NJ location. The Vito Mazza Salon & Spa Team will donate their time and professional expertise in hair, nails and skincare services in an effort to help raise funds and awareness within our community. All proceeds will go directly to the families of both women. Anyone who wishes to donate at least ten inches of their hair to Locks of Love will receive a complimentary haircut and hairstyle.
‘Locks of Love’ is a non-profit organization that provides hair prostheses to children under the age of 18 who suffer from hair loss for any medical reason. Faye Hecht, the wife of a local Woodbridge police officer Marc Hecht, passed away from a stroke and is survived by sons Marc, age 7 and Cole, age 3. Kelly Mahon, a senior at Woodbridge High School, has recently suffered a traumatic brain injury, which has her in a long term rehabilitation facility. The donations gathered will help to set up a fund for the sons of Faye Hecht and to help with the mounting medical bills for Kelly Mahon.
This event will kick off in the morning with a personal greeting from the Mayor of Woodbridge, the honorable John McCormac. The day will include brunch, followed by a light lunch, door prizes, music and much more.
